From March 11 – March 23, donate your gently used formal gowns and gown accessories – all styles and sizes welcome at the Springfield YMCA. Vintage, classic or retro! Help make somebody's Prom extra special this spring
Then join the Springfield YMCA for the "Prom It Forward" event on Saturday, March 23 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Every girl dreams of the perfect prom. This free pre-prom event will include door prizes, health and beauty inspiration, picture perfect tips, prom vendors and a collection of gently used gowns to choose from. |

Monday - Friday 7 – 9 a.m., 11 a.m. – 1 p.m./ Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m./ Monday and Wednesday 8:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. / Sunday 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Family Swim Hours: Friday 7 – 9 p.m./ Sunday 2 – 4 p.m.

Emergency Preparedness Workshop |

Emergency Preparedness Workshop for people with disabilities. The Red Cross, Illinois Department of Public Health and SCIL are hosting this free workshop. The workshop will provide information to assist individuals to better prepare for emergencies and assist participants in creating their own emergency plan/kit.

Women Entrepreneurs - Central IL |

WE-CI; Women Entrepreneurs of Central Illinois’s monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 13, from 5:30 pm to 7 p.m. at The Inn At 835, the south parlor of the old Inn; 334 South Second Street, Springfield, Ill. 62702
Program -- "Together We Grow." March is the annual membership event. This year WE-CI will plant the “seeds” to help more local women-owned businesses by reaching out to prospective new members. If you have considered membership, come to this event and learn how WE-CI can help you. This meeting features a series of round-table discussions on small business topics, cash bar, a door prize and favors.
This dinner is free for guests. The cost for the meeting is $22 for members, and $25 for walk-ins. Please RSVP by noon, Friday, March 8, 2013. Reservations are nonrefundable. Additional information is available by contacting L. Gay Davidson, 725-8500 or at reservations@we-ci.org.
